Pilot privacy notice

How we handle your information

Effective June 21, 2026 · Version pilot-0.1

Who may participate

This pilot is intended for adults age 18 or older who live in the United States. Participation is voluntary.

What we collect

When you complete the check, we collect your answers, calculated scores, assessment and scoring versions, consent confirmation, optional household context such as age range, household type, housing status, dependents, and income range if provided, a coarse campaign source when present, completion time, and limited browser information. If you request the full report by email, we also collect your first name and email address. Optional feedback may include free-text information you choose to provide.

How we use it

We use pilot information to deliver the requested report, understand completion and usability, evaluate how questions and scores behave, improve the framework, prevent duplicate processing, and operate the service. Pilot results are exploratory and are not used to make eligibility, credit, insurance, employment, housing, medical, or other consequential decisions about you.

Email

A report email is transactional and requested by you. Any future research invitation or general update must be offered separately; requesting a report is not blanket consent to marketing.

Sharing and sale

We do not sell participant information. Information may be processed by service providers needed to host the application, store responses, and deliver requested email. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect the service and participants.

Retention

During this early pilot, information is retained only as long as needed to evaluate and improve the framework. A fixed retention schedule is being established before broader research. You may request deletion at any time; de-identified aggregate findings that can no longer be linked to you may be retained.

Security and limitations

We use access controls and reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Avoid entering names, addresses, account numbers, diagnoses, or other identifying details in optional free text.

Your choices

You may skip optional household context, skip optional feedback, decline to provide an email, or request access, correction, or deletion. Contact resiliencelab@proton.me.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date and consent version. Responses collected under different assessment or consent versions will remain distinguishable.
